Essentrics class with Katie Rippy includes uplifting instrumental music and dialog.  She is an advocate for understanding one's design and hosts a gentle atmosphere for newcomers while providing options for those who desire more of a challenge.  Katie is a level 1 instructor and performs pre-choreographed workouts designed by Essentrics Headquarters.  She has been doing this for a couple of years and is working towards her level 2 instructor's credentials.

The grim darkness of the far future comes to Cooper Memorial Library.

Bring in your 40k crusade force and try to claim supremacy of the planet, Velostra VI, and its mysteries in this narrative campaign. Due to the nature and content of the game, and gaming environment, players are required to be 18+.

READing Paws is a dog assisted literacy program.

Romeo is a licensed, certified and insured therapy dog who loves to listen to stories and look at pictures with children. Register at the front desk for a 15 minute slot for your child to read a story to Romeo and build confidence and love of reading. He can't wait to meet you!
Romeo will be at our library every other Saturday, from 10am-12pm. 

This program begins in 1941, when Marjory Stoneman Douglas was a journalist, writing her River of Grass book for money, not to save the Everglades. When Rachel Carson published Silent Spring in 1962,  some of the United States’ most beloved birds were well on their way to extinction due to pesticides. This program tells how Douglas restored the Everglades and Carson saved wildlife through their writings. Join Betty Jean Steinshouer for an afternoon, celebrating two influential women who made an impact on the environment. No registration required.
